Tracie attended Wichita State University, receiving her B.A. in Psychology and, Minor in Criminal Justice before graduating from Washburn University School of Law in 2001. She completed the prestigious International Association of Defense Counsel trial academy. 

Tracie is a dedicated litigator. She brings a wealth of knowledge and care to the table in defending her clients in the areas of medical malpractice and professional licensure. Her professional clients include physicians, physician assistants (PAs), nurses, certified nurse aides (CNAs), dentists, therapists, counselors, psychiatric residential treatment facilities (PTRFs), home health agencies, nursing homes, and operators and administrators of group homes, home plus and long-term care facilities. She has handled matters pending with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, Kansas State Board of Nursing, Kansas Dental Board, Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board, Office of Inspector General, Disciplinary Appeals Board, Veterans Administration, Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services and Kansas Department for Children and Families. Tracie’s talents also are used in defending individuals and companies in matters concerning wrongful death, personal injury, auto accidents and premises liability. 

Tracie takes great pride in treating her clients as she would like to be treated. She believes in the “golden rule,” and listening respectfully to her clients’ ideas, offering sound legal advice and cooperating with her clients in formulating a strategy and plan.  

An involved community leader, Tracie is active in her church and booster club at her children’s high school. She was born in Hutchinson and returned home after practicing law for 19 years with a prestigious firm in Wichita. Tracie enjoys the outdoors, spending time grilling, camping and boating with friends and family.
