Gilliland Green Attorney Guest Speaker at KFSA Insurance Agency's 2018 Customer Meetings, "Strategies for Success"

Melissa Moodie, attorney at Gilliland Green law firm, presented as a guest speaker at the KFSA Insurance Agency 2018 Customer Meetings, “Strategies for Success.”  The meetings were held in Dodge City, Kansas on September 11, 2018 and Wichita, Kansas on September 12, 2018.  The focus of the Customer Meetings this year was on different aspects of how the companies in attendance could succeed during change, when in a “slump,” and during difficult time in business.  Ms. Moodie started the meetings with a session titled “Life Cycle of Civil Litigation,” and a second session on deposition preparation.  The second session included a mock defendant deposition.  Businesses representatives in attendance were given the opportunity to learn what to expect in the event their business is involved in litigation, as well as were provided a more in-depth look at what testifying at a deposition is like for a named defendant.  The meeting also provided training by other guest speakers on the following: “The Do’s and Don’ts of Effective Training,” “Methods of Recruiting Quality Employees,” “Managing a Disaster,” and a keynote speaker with a presentation titled, “Rekindling the Fire When You are Down to a Pilot Light.”
